We Really Need An Official Thanksgiving Song!

Hard to believe it is time to plan for Thanksgiving.  Are you doing it at home or are you going to a family member’s house?  We are headed to my sister-in-law’s place.  She is what used to be known as a Home Ec teacher, so you KNOW the meal will be awesome!  The field is now called "Family & Consumer Sciences", which is a mouthful.  Speaking of Thanksgiving (which I like to capitalize because it is my favorite holiday), we really need an official Thanksgiving Song, America!   So far I have only been able to identify what it is NOT:

It’s not this:

 Or this:

Perhaps there is a wonderful Thanksgiving-like instrumental out there.  If you know one, share it with me, PLEASE!

As you plan for this upcoming wonderful day, where can you get fresh baked traditional yeast rolls, pumpkin pie, pecan pie and sweet potato pie?  Katie Connally Confections will have wonderful, melt-in-your-mouth yeast rolls, pies and specialty brownies to complete your table.   The party pan size of yeast rolls will feed 6 to 8 people comfortably, and free you up to make all your other delicious items.  Just let me know via Facebook:

thankful (definition)

[thangk-fuhl]
adjective
1. feeling or expressing gratitude; appreciative.

I'm thankful for the life God has so graciously given me; my family and my friends.  And for the wonderful memories of the woman who taught me to bake.  So glad I knew her.
Looking forward to a happy and healthy holiday season with you all,
