How do I love thee? Let me count the ways -- chocolate chips, cocoa, your Moderation Nationtm, Together Countstm and so many more reasons! Their products are a major part of our Chocolate Whiskey Cake. I have tried other brands of cocoa and chips, but nothing beats Hershey products in my book. One sweet memory my children have is of me making "real" hot cocoa for them during the winters when they were small and I made them come indoors to thaw out. After a "cuppa" Hershey's Cocoa and 30 minutes of warmth they were always ready to head back outside. Nowadays they will occasionally drink instant cocoa, but a "cuppa" of the real deal takes them back to their childhood. This is true for me and probably some of you as well. My grandmother, Katie Connally, used Hershey's Cocoa when I was growing up in Connecticut. Her kitchen was always cozy during the fall and winter seasons. The feeling of being safe and warm at her table with my cup of cocoa while looking out the big window as the snow fell is a cherished memory. While it is still cold, make a Hershey's hot cocoa memory at your house. You'll be glad you did.
Reading this post brought back memories of my own. My grandmother wasn't big on making hot cocoa, but she sure loved making tea cakes. And now, I can only imagine what my grandma's tea cakes would have tasted like with a cup of hot cocoa. Ummmmmm ummmmmmm ummmmmm!!
